It’s easy being green at The Frogarium!

but we are working on opening a bigger & better facility in 2022!

Pandemic rules shut down The Frogarium and most other tourist facilities in 2020, however in our case it meant we had to find a better location so that we could display all the animals we have and to provide a better and safer experience for all. There are so many additional requirements since the pandemic started and we are working hard to create many new experiences and options for our visitors moving forward. It has been a mammoth task moving all of our enclosures and frogs. We hope to reopen later in 2022 and look forward to seeing you then.

What is ‘The Frogarium’?

The Frogarium is set to be the premiere frog enclosure in Australia. It will boast 23 species of frog including four that are endangered – and it will open to the public near Coffs Harbour later in 2022.

Visitors to the Frogarium will be able to see many frogs including the Giant Barred Frog – the Coffs Coast’s own endangered frog, and the Green and Golden Bell frog that so famously disrupted construction of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games village after its discovery in a quarry on the site.

Tour options will include informative, fun and educational tours on the hour 7 days a week. Online bookings will be available as tours will book out.

Hop on over when we re-open!

A nice experience for our family group which aged between ten and 80+ years. Very interesting, great range of species and fantastic guides.

My son and I really enjoyed the visit today, thanks. Recommend a visit if you‘re in the area!
