It’s easy being green at The Frogarium!

The 4sq. metre rule still prevents our tours from running. This has been a very difficult time for us on a number of levels and we have decided to move to another site that is more suitable for the conditions we find ourselves in. It will be a mammoth task to move all of our enclosures and frogs. We hope to reopen later this year bigger and better than ever and look forward to seeing you then.

What is the frogarium?

The Frogarium is set to be the premiere frog enclosure in Australia. It boasts 23 species of frog including four that are endangered – and it will open to the public at Boambee’s Garden Mania Lifestyle Centre. Right next to the highway, it’s super easy to find.

Visitors to the Frogarium will be able to see many frogs including the Giant Barred Frog – the Coffs Coast’s own endangered frog, and the Green and Golden Bell frog that so famously disrupted construction of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games village after its discovery in a quarry on the site.

Tours start on the hour from 11am until last tour at 2pm. Tuesday- Sunday. Bookings recommended as tours book out. (Please note that tours don’t run in heavy rain)

Hop on over when we re-open!

My kids and I had a blast searching through the countless frog habitats. It was amazing to see how many species they care for! The staff are friendly and really know their stuff.

The Frogarium is a unique place where you can see frogs that you rarely see in the wild, and the frogs are amazing! I’m going to bring my kids here.
